Stand-Alone Career Related Courses

Although less common with the emphasis on career pathways and programs of study, one finds these stand-alone courses in a number of high schools and vocational centers. Often, they are used to introduce students to a specific occupation.

The Street Law Course is one example and is used in many schools and has been around for more than 20 years. Of course, Street Law can be part of a more comprehensive pathway program.
